Assembly Man Supports 2 Projects With 20 Bags Of Cement

THE ASSEMBLY member for Edwenase � Adubensu Electoral Area in the Afigya- Kwabre District of the Ashanti region, Kofi Ansah has donated 20 bags of cement to support the on- going development projects being initiated by the chiefs and people of Adubensu Kese and Edwenase Besease. Ten bags were given to the Adubensu Kese community during a fund raising ceremony in aid of a clinic project while the same quantity was donated to Edwenase Besease to support the completion of work on the KVIP project being executed by the people. Mr. Ansah in an interview with this reporter indicated that for the past three years he assumed the mantle as the local leader of the people, he had played an instrumental role by which his area has seen a lot of developments. Mr. Ansah mentioned an ICT centre at Adubensu Kese which he worked in collaboration with Nana Owusu Apeasa to put up. The centre he explained has been furnished with a number of computers to enhance teaching and learning of the subject. He said apart from the ICT centre, he has supported other projects at both Adubensu Kese and Edwenease Besease. According to him, from his own sources he has sponsored 8 young people to acquire employable skills that are now making decent living from the trade they have learnt. He called on the people to remain united and contribute their little quota to ensure the rapid development of the area as the central government alone cannot do everything for them. �My humble appeal to my people is that we need to be united to enable us fight our common enemies which are illiteracy, poverty, diseases and ignorance among others,� he said. He praised the chiefs within his electoral area for the immense support and constant advice which have made them to achieve many things though there are a lot more to be done.
