UK/Ireland NDC Mourns Women�s Organizer

The United Kingdom and Ireland Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed grave shock over the untimely death of the party's Deputy Women�s Organizers of the Greater Accra and Volta Regions. A statement issued by Mr Michael Frimpong, Public Relations Officer of NDC, UK and Ireland Chapter, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday said �we are deeply devastated and heartbroken�. The statement said: �It is on this note that we the NDC UK/Ireland Chapter wish to express our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the families of our beloved comrades, our fallen heroes and also to the entire NDC family in this difficult time. Our Hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the families and to the NDC.� It said the group was praying for the speedy recovery of the Greater Accra Women's Organiser and the driver of the vehicle, who are critically ill in hospital. �We also want to use this opportunity to express our sincere sympathy to the First Lady Lordina Mahama. �We pray that she is comforted by the good Lord Himself in these difficult times. We cannot begin to imagine how devastated she will be right now, we therefore wish her well,� it said.
