Langabell Downplays Okwawu United

Following the promotion of Accra Great Olympics to the premiership after a 2-1 win over Tema Youth, Ghana Sports has gathered that some members of Hearts of Oak have defected to Olympics with plans to make the club the main Ga team. That is expected to fuel the traditional rivalry that existed between Olympics and clubs like Okwawu United. In an interview with Ghana Sports, the unofficial Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Great Olympics, Joseph Langabell, says as a result of the large following of Olympics, the club deserves the right to be the Gas traditional club. He says Great Olympics are ready to surprise many. Olympics are careless despite Okwawu United's allegations of bad officiating in their last zone match at the Baba Yara Stadium during the middle league. Joseph Langabell is confident the team has come to stay. Okwawu United belong to the people of Kwahu and Great Olympics have the blend of all. Olympics is a traditional club but Okwawu is not a traditional club, Langabell argued.
