Tutor Arrested For Stealing Computers

A Tutor at Adukrom Senior High Technical School at Adukrom-Akuapem in the Eastern region has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing four computers and accessories which belong to the school. The suspect, Livingston Asamoah is currently in police custody assisting in investigation. According to the Akuapem North District Police commander, Supt. Henry Bacho, the school authorities reported to the police about the disappearance of the four computers and its accessories from the computer laboratory. He said, the suspect upon hearing that the case has been reported to the police handed over one of the stolen computers to the security. The police became suspicious of the tutor whose residence is close to the computer laboratory. Supt. Bacho said during investigations and search of the suspect�s room, three other computers and its accessories were found leading to his arrest to assist in investigation. The suspect was the 2012 Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress for the New Juaben North constituency.
