Peacefmonline.com can authoritatively confirm that barring any unforeseen circumstances, Former President John Jerry Rawlings will be among the array of dignitaries who will thronged the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium to witness the much anticipated non-title Cruiserweight clash dubbed, �The Judgment Night� between Braimah Kamako a.k.a Bukom Banku and Ayittey Powers, which rolls in a few hours. Reliable sources have confirmed to Peacefmonline that the former president, who is also a diehard boxing fan, will be watching the fight from the VVIP stands at the ringside. �The Judgment Night� has seen two eleventh hour postponements caused by Ayittey Powers. Days to the April 18 date originally set for the fight, Ayittey Powers said Prophet TB Joshua had instructed him not to fight on April 18 because it was Easter Friday and it would be a dishonor to God and bad omen. He also said that TB Joshua assured him of victory if he avoided the April 18 date. Powers again caused another postponement, saying he wanted additional money. But after intense negotiations, the fight will finally come off tonight and would be broadcast live on DStv (Super Sport 9), GOtv (Super-Sport Select) and TV3 FROM 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, the much publicised non-title Cruiserweight bout will be beamed live across 50 African countries. Cecil Sunkwa-Mills, General Manager of Multi Choice Ghana Limited, operators of DSTV, revealed this at a press conference in Accra, during the re-launch of the fight after both boxers agreed to fight. He said his outfit will ensure an excellent production of the fight to meet international standards since the fight had already attracted a lot of international attention. What remains unclear is which of the two talented combatants Mr Rawlings is backing, but sources say the former president is highly optimistic of a good and entertaining bout between the two Bukom based boxers. Who wins the bragging rights? Well, the answer will be known in a few hours. Tickets are selling at GH10 for regular GH50 for VIP and 100 for VVIP tickets.
