Yendi NPP strategises For 2016

The Yendi Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has organised a day�s workshop on strategic management for its executive, electoral area co-ordinators and communications team members to strategise for victory in the 2016 elections. The Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Habib Tijani, appealed to the constituency executive to consult one another in undertaking initiatives towards strengthening the party. He advised members of the communications team to do their best to publicise the good works of the party to boost its chances in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections. Alhaji Tijani gave an account of how he was spending development funds in his jurisdiction. He noted that, among other things, he was using his share of the National Health Insurance Authority MPs Fund to construct a GH�51,850.00 clinic for Nayilifong, a suburb of Yendi. He is also using GH�205,000 from the Social Intervention Programme Fund to support 330 students in tertiary institutions and GH�20.000.00 to assist deprived volunteer teachers in the constituency. The constituency Patron of the NPP, Mr Alfred Kojo Donkor, called on members of the party to contribute towards strengthening the party�s structures to function effectively.
