Ministry Of Health Supports 37 Military Hospital

The Ministry of Health has donated assorted medical items worth $22,000 to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. The items include a pulse oxymeter, a hand-held doppler ultrasound, a laryngoscope, a truphatek set and a bookwaler retractor. Handing over the items to the management of the hospital, the Minister of Health, Mrs Sherry Ayitey, said the donation formed part of her ministry�s support to various health facilities to help them deliver quality health care. �We are hopeful that these items will augment the existing stock at 37 Military Hospital to enhance its capacity to offer better healthcare services to the people,� she stated. Appreciation Receiving the items, the acting Medical Director of the Ghana Armed Forces Medical Services, Col M. Alhassan, thanked the ministry for its support and gave an assurance that the items would be taken care of properly for them to serve the intended purpose.
