Schalke 04 ace Kevin-Prince Boateng has stated that he is itching to play at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals Brazil. The 27-year-old is set to play in his second successive tournament after a flourishing debut in South Africa four years ago. Boateng, whose nationality switch was ratified by FIFA before the 2010 finals, is yearning to hit the ground running in Brazil. During a visit to his former club AC Milan last week, he said: �I�m happy to go to the World Cup and I�m here to see Essien and Muntari.� Boateng has been excused to see his doctor and will meet up with Ghana�s squad in Rotterdam on 24 May to prepare for the pre-World Cup friendly against Holland.
