Dr. Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, the General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana commended the leadership and membership of the church for putting up such a facility to house their pastor. According to him, the purpose of providing a comfortable accommodation for the pastor of the church is to enable him shepherd Gods people effectively and also fulfill the core mandate for which Christ established the church. This Manse must be used to further the cause of Christ. It must be a place of prayer and an avenue where believers can come without hesitation to receive insight from Gods word in difficult times, he said. He added that God will certainly bless members of the church who have continuously availed their resources, finances, energy and time to building a church for God. In his sermon during the dedication, he admonished pastors to use every resource available to them to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead Gods people to have personal relationships with Christ. He encouraged members of the church to obey the teachings of Christ and be willing to do His will, even if it is at the peril of their lives, admonishing Christians to be seekers of knowledge and yearn to develop a personal relationship with God. Most Christians are being deceived with false doctrines in the name of prophecies, healing and miracles because they do not know His word and lack a closer walk with their maker. in the times we live in, we can easily be carried away by the things of this world. But in the midst of these difficult times, we must be willing to obey God because that is what will guarantee our good life, Rev. Opuni-Frimpong noted in Deuteronomy 6:24-25. For him, believers who have a relationship with Christ and know His word cannot easily be deceived, adding that we must be wary of false prophets and not allow ourselves to be indoctrinated by any doctrine which is in contradiction with the teachings of Christ. The Senior Pastor of the Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Twum Baah on his part thanked the congregation for their commitment to the cause of Christ.
