Ministry of Health has developed a five-year master plan for the public health sector commodity supply chain. The plan is to address weaknesses identified in the supply chain especially with medicines and other logistics for health facilities in the country. The Director of Procurement and Supply at the Ministry, Samuel Boateng, made this known at a training workshop in Accra to deliberate on enhancing access to medicines through an effective medicine supply chain.
