The Minority Spokesperson on Finance, Dr Anthony Osei Akoto, has urged government to face up with the problems confronting the economy and come out with tough decisions to improve it. He said before government can make any meaningful decision on the economy, it should disclose total arrears of statutory funds. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr Osei Akoto also tasked government to fully disclose how the oil fund is being spent. He spoke about how the winner takes all approach is negatively affecting the political economy of the country.
