The Black Stars midfielder who was on the World Cup standby list got married over the weekend to his girlfriend.
Ghana midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman got married to Sawudatu Maman on Sunday at a colourful Islamic marriage ceremony in Accra.
The event attracted several high profile personalities in the football fraternity including his coach at Sassuolo Francesco de Eusebio, who was the special guest.
Speaking to the gathering, former Black Satellites assistant coach Prince Owusu, who chaired the occasion, praised Chibsah for his humility and how far he has come in terms of his football career since nurturing him from the scratch.
Among the footballers who were present at the event were Al Sadd's Kasola Mohammed, Isaac Cofie of Genoa, Alfred Duncan of Inter Milan, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom of Juventus, and Ahmed Barusso of Torino.
