Alan Is The Best Bet -Amoah

A LEADING member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Joseph Amoah, has said Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is the best bet and has what it takes to unseat the wobbling ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). The Former Ashanti Regional Campaign manager for Alan noted that if NPP as a Party sends a commodity to market and it is rejected, even after it has been polished, then the commodity has to be changed, to the delight of the consumers or buyers. Speaking in an interview with The Chronicle in Kumasi recently, Mr. Amoah said the buyers (electorate) decide who they want as a President and not the Party, and if NPP keeps fielding a candidate who is not popular in the eyes of the Ghanaian electorate, then the sellers will use their thumb to decide. He stated that the former Minister of Trade and Industry in the erstwhile John Agyekum Kufuor administration is the best bet who can wrestle power for NPP in the 2016 General Elections and urged delegates to give Alan Cash the nod to unseat President John Mahama, to save Ghanaians from the growing economic hardship in Ghana. According to the NPP stalwart, the reality is that the party now has strong executives who need a strong and marketable candidate. Alan is the best bet to be pushed forward, he said adding Alan Cash is capable of the taking up the mantle of leadership. Mr. Amoah explained that Politics is a game of numbers and always you look at who will get you the votes. NPP supporters alone cannot get us the Party the 50 plus one votes and Nana is aware of this. He said when Professor Adu Boahen was substituted with former President John Agyekum Kufuor in 1996, he won political power for the Danquah-Dombo-Busia family, hence the need to consider giving Alan Cash the chance to win power for the NPP.
