Kevin-Prince Boateng Wants Ghana To "Fight To The Death"

Ghana's Kevin-Prince Boateng has called on the squad to "fight to the death" to get their World Cup campaign back on track. The Black Stars come up against Group G leaders, Germany on Saturday in Fortaleza in a must-win game. Kwesi Appiah's side trail the Germans by three points after their 2-1 defeat to the USA on Monday while their opponents thrashed Portugal 4-0 the same day. "It's like in ancient Rome. There will be people around the pitch who want to see how two teams fight," Boateng told German magazine Sport Bild. "The team who wants it more will win and we will fight to the death against Germany." The match will see the healthy rivalry of two brothers continue as Kevin-Prince meets his brother, Germany defender Jrme Boateng. It will be the second time, the brothers on opposite divide are meeting again after their first encounter at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where Germany beat Ghana 1-0 in the group stage.
