Kevin Prince Boateng Meets Brother Today

Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has described the Black Stars meeting with their German counterparts at the World stage as a special feeling After crossing swords four years ago at the World Cup finals in South Africa, where the brothers faced each other, the first at a World Cup, they would line up on opposite sides again today when Ghana comes up against Germany in Fortaleza. Both brothers have promised to give each other a good game as they did at the 2010 World Cup. Im really looking forward to the match and the fact that both Boateng brothers will be on the same pitch, said Kevin-Prince. It is a unique experience at the international level for siblings to face each other but it is one Jerome wants to savour. Of course, its a special experience to face your own brother at the World Cup and its not the first time either. Theres always a lot of excitement surrounding a World Cup, but this will be a particularly special moment for us both, added Jerome. For their family, picking their choice of colours to wear on the match day would remain a difficult task but their supreme interest would be on how their wards perform. Ultimately, its not important for our parents who wins. What counts for them is that we give our absolute best, remain injury-free and look back on our own personal performances with nothing but satisfaction, Kevin-Prince said. FA
