Two people on a motorbike sustained severe injuries after colliding with a fast-moving train approaching the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra on Wednesday morning. According to an eyewitness, the rider of the motorbike crossed the railway line without any caution or knowledge of an imminent danger. This collision sent both the rider and his passenger flying around before crashing to the ground. Onlookers feared the worst had happened to them. But the two survived. The sound that emanated from the impact drew their attention to the scene. �We were standing here and all of a sudden we heard a loud bang so we run towards the scene and found out that the two[people on the motorbike]had fallen into the ditch, �one eye witness recounted. The crossing keeper who is supposed to warn the vehicles of any approaching train tells Joy News� Michaela Anderson that most drivers disregard instructions given them as some rain insults on him. �The cars stop when I tell them, but the motor riders do not,� he admitted. The two injured has been sent to the hospital for treatment.
