Pastor To Face Antoa Over Spouses Death

The Founder and Leader of the Merciful Church located at Mallam Junction a suburb of Accra Charles Boadi will soon be drag before Antoa Nyama to prove his innocence in the death of his spouse Salomey Sarfoa. According to the family of Sarfoa circumstances surrounding their daughters death and subsequent behavior of the Pastor after her death has given them the cause to suspect that their daughter did not die a natural death hence their decision to summon him before Antoa to prove his innocence. Narrating their plight to this reporter, Sarfoas mother stated that Charles has been living with her daughter for eight years and the two have two children. Charles has however not performed the necessary marriage rites. According to madam Agyewaa, a native of Kwawu Bukruwa, somewhere last week the family received a call from Charles claiming that Sarfoa fell sick for a short period and died. She said the family therefore decided to go and find out as to what arrangement was being made towards the funeral as well as find out the cause of death. On Saturday we were at home when Charles sent an ambulance with the corpse and a police escort to the family for burial. She stated. The family refused to accept the corps and rather requested that the man of God comes down and explain to use the cause of death as well as perform the necessary marriage rites before she is buried. Madam Agyewaa averred that Charles refused to come compelling the ambulance staff to bury her at the cemetery. She said upon close examination it was discovered that there were bruises on Sarfoas face compelling the family to suspect a foul play. This fake man of God has shown gross disrespect to the family and we will not rest until justice is done. We have decided to take our case to Antoa to resolve the matter for us. Madam Agyewaa added. She should come and tell the family what killed our daughter and perform the necessary marriage rites. She concluded. Attempts to contact Charles fail as his phones were off at the time of going to press.
