Media Accreditation For ECOWAS Summit Opens

Journalists and Media Practitioners/Representatives who wish to cover the two-day ECOWAS Summit are informed that Media Accreditation is opened immediately and will close at 1700 hours on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. A statement signed by Ben Dotsei Malor, Head of Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, Office of the President and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Monday said there would be no accreditation at the Summit venue and no one would be admitted to the venue without an event badge. It said Journalists, Media Practitioners and representatives who wish to apply for accreditation, should please visit: http://www.accrameetings.com. It noted that applications must be completed with a passport photograph uploaded in jpeg format, a scanned copy of a letter from the participating country�s Protocol or Foreign Ministry, indicating accompanying media delegation, or a letter from the media institution requesting the accreditation. It asked official photographers to provide the information, with their names and any other relevant details, and must be indicated in the media request letter.
