Castro Missing Saga: Who Should We Believe?

Ghanaians and the diehard fans of the fast rising artiste, Castro has been thrown into mourning since 5th of July when it was announced that De Destroyer crooner drowned while on a Jet Ski at the Ada Estuary resort. Before we could say Jack, reports that Castro was not alone hit the street, and everyone was eager to know the identity of the said lady who reports claimed was hanging on his back on the Jet Ski without a life jacket. And after various investigations, her identity later came up as Janet Bandu. Investigation also reveals that, contrary to the report flying around that Castro met the fair complexion lady by chance at Ada resort and decided to take her on a Jet Ski ride, that Castro, said to be married, actually came to the resort with the lady. As Castro missing story develops, the news is escalating; birthing various sub headlines and intrigue contributions from the family of the said lady, who claims their daughter was not dating Castro. It also came to light that Castro is married, even though his marriage is not at its best, according to a man who refers to himself as Castros junior dad. 7th of July make it the third day that Castro the destroyer dived into the water without his life jacket to save the lady, who was said to have fallen off the Jet Ski according to Daily Graphic report. But the question begging for an answer is: if truly Castro removed his life jacket and dived into the water, why havent they find the life jacket, because it should be floating; after-all, an evidence of him going off the jet ski shows when the resort management revealed that they had since recovered the Jet Ski he used. Castro and the ladys family became even more sad yesterday when the fishermen and the high-powered police delegation for the search; Tema Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mrs. Beatrice Vib-Sanziri; the Tema Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olivia Turkson, and the Ada Marine Police Chief, Chief Superintendent Owusu Berko came back with nothing after the search. The injury Castros unprecedented loss created in the heart of his fans was however laced with salt again when the report credited to the Ada East District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. John Nurudeen Ahortu, said, the musician could survive in the water for three days with a life jacket. As usual, spiritualists in Ghana have come out in their numbers, fighting their way through different radio stations and other media outlets, but with similar prophecies/visions that Castro is not dead yet; that he has been taken by the river goddess. But none could tell why he was taken? For how many days? And if he will be back? Spiritualists in Ghana have a record of coming out in their numbers during crisis or when there is none, just to get publicity. But the question on everyones lips is: who shall we believe?
