The Ghana Police Hospital mortuary is to be shut down for major rehabilitation works, according to hospital authorities. This is to ensure the mortuary which is a major referral centre is in perfect shape to accommodate more dead bodies. In an interview on Adom News, the Public Relations Officer of Police hospital, ASP Juliana Obeng said the mortuary will be shutdown indefinitely until all rehabilitation works are completed. She noted that as a matter of urgency, they have contacted relatives who have their corpse there to come for it whiles the other she says will be kept in other hospitals. ASP Obeng also appealed to the general public to send their deceased relatives to other mortuaries in the country.
