The Ellembelle District in the Western Region is making strides in development projects and these include schools and roads. Among them are the rehabilitation of four-unit classroom blocks at Aiyinase Saint Peters Anglican Junior High School, Teleku-Bokazo market and Kikam Technical Institute. Other projects are the rehabilitation of Police Central Command at Esiama, six- unit classroom block of Sabilnaja Primary School at Asaasetre, re-shaping of Ebi/Machine road and the seven-kilometre Esiama/Teleku-Bokazo road. Speaking to the GNA at the end of an inspection of the projects on Wednesday, the District Chief Executive of the area, Mr. Daniel Kamatu Eshun, said the Assembly was impressed with the progress of work and urged the contractors to complete them on schedule. He said the assembly would soon cut the sod for work to begin on the construction of a district magistrate court office complex and appealed to the Chief Justice to support it to put up an accommodation for the staff and magistrate who would be posted to the area. Mr Eshun said plans were advanced to construct a fire station and appealed to the Interior Ministry to provide them with a fire tender.
