I've Implemented Painful But "Necessary" Measures To Fix Ailing Economy - Prez Mahama

As it stands now, Ghanas economy is in a bad state. The situation could easily degenerate into a crisis if not handled with care, but the president, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has given assurance that together with his team, they will work harder to avert such a scenario. President Mahama, on Monday, graced the Eid-ul Fitr celebration in Kumasi, and promised to implement measures to fix Ghanas ailing economy. He revealed that he has currently implemented painful but "necessary" measures to protect the national economy and prevent an economic meltdown. With determination and focus, he assured all that the nation would soon reap the fruits of its sacrifice. He cited a verse from the Holy Quran which reads indeed after difficulty, there is always ease to serve as an assurance to all during this period of an unstable economy. According to him, we are all too aware of the short term economic challenges that currently face us a nation. At the same time, our nations median short term prospects remain very bright and positive.
