The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday extended its warmest felicitation to all Muslims on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr as they end the Ramadan. �You went through spiritually cleansing and purity during which you asked for God�s blessing, favour and kindness for mankind,� a statement signed by Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary, said in a statement. �We extend our warmest felicitation to all Muslims as they end the Ramadan. It was one of the difficult times of fasting and prayers not for only you but for the socio-economic and political development of mother Ghana,� the statement said. It said the NDC have always believed that continuous prayers and fasting has contributed to the harmonious co-existence which has become the bedrock for peace and tranquility, stability and development in the country. �The party wishes, on this joyous occasion to ask the Ghanaian society to join Muslims to give thanks to Almighty Allah the Merciful, for his abundant blessing and guidance,� the statement said. The statement urged Ghanaians to use the occasion to rededicate themselves to patriotism and commitment to contribute their quota towards the development of the nation in all spheres of endeavour.
