Mahama Spokespersons Are Cruel - Divine

National Youth leader of the Progressive People�s Party (PPP,) Divine Nkrumah, has said members of the governing National Democratic Congress� (NDC) communication team who have constantly hailed praises on President John Dramani Mahama amidst these tough economic times are �cruel.� According to Mr. Nkrumah, people in government�s communication team have been defending the president even when he [president] is erring. He stressed that Ghanaians are living under very harsh conditions which conditions require members of government and the NDC communication teams respectively empathise with them by assuring them of better days as well as informing the president of the people�s predicaments. The PPP National Youth leader further lamented that government has refused to hand over Tier 2 pension funds to its rightful owners; moneys owed the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) have not been paid; National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) owe service providers; subventions given to public universities have been removed; lecturers are on strike yet government communicators continue to hail the president. This according to Mr. Nkrumah was a spite in the faces of Ghanaians. He therefore asked them to apologise to Ghanaians and invite well-meaning Ghanaians with the requisite expertise to assist government solve the numerous challenges the country is facing. �If there are any NDC communications persons who are still defending the president; they should reconsider their actions because they are being cruel. Times are good for them but the lots are suffering. They should call for help in the administration of the country instead of propaganda,� he advised.
