Nana Basabasa, a well known Spiritualist at Sefwi in the Western Region has warned leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of catastrophic consequences if they do not desist from using black magic against each other. According to him, high ranking members of the biggest opposition party have taken the internal party disputes into the spiritual realm by using �juju� against themselves in their bid to win the flagbearership contest of the party. However, Nana Basabasa noted that a continuation of this spiritual fight amongst leaders of the party would lead to the death of a high profile personality, which would bring pain and sorrow onto the rank and file the party. ��if they do not take care, an accident will cause the death of the very person they are looking up to�if they do not do the right things, I foresee a dark cloud over the party in a weeks� time�. He further disclosed that the confusion in the party is being caused by outsiders which could lead to the total destruction of the party if the NPP leadership does not read between the lines to rectify the situation. This revelation comes at a time when factionalism in the party is at its crescendo, with all parties believed to be fighting for the heart and soul of the party. On the question as to how the situation could be solved, Nana Basabasa told the host of Me Man Nti programme on Neat FM he would not want to meet any of the party leaders but would want to issue instructions to any party leader interested in his message, over a telephone conversation. �I would not want to meet anyone since most people think some of us want money that is why we come out with such disclosures, but I don�t want anyone�s money and would want to deal with any party leader on phone. After all, the remedy would not cost up to one cedi,� he stated.
