Sekou Nkrumah Is The Most Inconsistent Politician Ever - Frances Essiam

Following assertions by Dr Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghanas first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah that though two-time Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo has the requisite experience to lead the country, he is too old to be the First Gentleman; a member of Nana Addos team has fired a sharp riposte. The former National Coordinator of the National Youth Council (NYC) was of the opinion that right now, Ghana has reached a political stage that it needs a sound mind, a sound body, but hes not sure of Nana Addos physical appearance. He thus asked Ghanaians to take a cue from what happened to the late president, Prof. Evans Fiifi Atta Mills; who he claims Ghanaians voted for him even when he was old out of sympathy and not make a similar error of judgement. In his view, a straight contest between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Mr. Alan Kyerematen for flagbearership would have been his preference. But the 2012 NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Adentan Constituency, Frances Essiem, says Sekous remarks were in bad faith and labeled him the countrys most inconsistent politician. Speaking in an interview on Ade Akye Abia on Okay Fm, Madam Frances Essiem stressed that the countrys Constitution stipulates 40 years and above as the required age one can contest the Presidency. She therefore pointed out that the only thing that can deny any person the opportunity to stand for the Presidency is when the person has been imprisoned before or has a criminal record. Tell Sekou not to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians because he is the most inconsistent Politician; what he has done is in bad faith. Has Akufo Addo told him he is sick or is there any report from a doctor that Nana Addo is sick? It is good to be interested in the health of Nana Addo but it is not age qualification as he wants to put it because the Constitution frowns against age discrimination of any person. Sekou Nkrumah is undermining the Constitution of Ghana that determines who qualifies for the Presidency in Ghanaand if Nana Addo is sick, we would have been the first to tell him to step aside because we are coming into to work for Ghana and not into power to bragSouth African President is older than Nana Addo but he is ruling his country well and it should be put on record that the late President Mills died of sickness and not because of his age; he died younger than Nana Addo and what happened to Prof. Mills can as well happened to anybody including Sekou Nkrumah, she fumed on Okay Fm.
