Michael Ballack Slams Kevin Prince Boateng

German legend Michael Ballack has hit out at Kevin-Prince Boateng for failing to apologise to him for the challenge which ruled the ex-Germany captain out of the World Cup. Ballack missed out the Mundial in South Africa following Boateng's reckless challenge that tore the medial collateral ligament in his right ankle during an FA Cup final match between Chelsea and Portsmouth at Wembley in May 2010. Boateng reportedly told Germany's Sport Bild magazine that he had already offered his apologies, but Ballack says he has never heard any word from the Ghanaian international. Ballack told Sky90: "No, he did not apologize." "That would have been a sign of regret. If you hurt a player who would have gone with great expectations for the World Cup, which would have conceived of size." "But I was professional enough to swallow and forget about that incident. I would not accept any apology from him even if he tries do so now."
