NDC Untouchable Group Salutes Manly-Spain

The Untouchable Group of Nima has commended the Greater Accra Regional Executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), the vetting committees and all constituency executives in the Greater Accra region for a successful vetting. The group also commended the aspirants for supporting the process and respecting the guidelines. �We wish the successful aspirants all the best of luck in their campaigns. To the unsuccessful aspirants, we strongly urge you to fully support those who will be elected to make our dear party stronger and more united so as to enable us retain power in 2016.� The group said on the vetting days, aspirants from all the constituencies in the region gathered in Accra to go through the constitutionally mandated vetting process. Aspirants started arriving at the venue as early as 6.00 am and the vetting lasted the whole day. �Those who reported early had not taken their breakfast and almost all the other aspirants for fear of being considered as absent could not ignore the vetting and go to town to buy food. Almost all the aspirants had not eaten after twelve noon, due to the fact that, no provision was made to provide launch to aspirants.� The group added �we were very surprised that not even a single chair was provided by our current chairman, Ade-Coker and his team to aspirants to sit on.� The president of the group,Issaka Amoani further noted that �we were also saddened that our current chairman tried to block the food and water being given to the aspirants after he failed woefully to supply such basic needs for us. �In fact, everybody was neglected on the vetting day as members had to sit on bare floor, on stones with others battling with the scorching sun. �To the surprise of the NDC Greater Accra constituency aspirants, the generous, kind, and hard-working and loyal Henry Ekow Manly-Spainappeared at the venue with over 2,000 packs of food and water which were quickly shared to the aspirants throughout the vetting days.� He said �by this and other virtues exhibited, Mr Manly-Spainhas naturally positioned himself as a caring and generous leader capable of leading the NDC Greater Accra Region to increase its votes towards election 2016. �We strongly recommend to NDC delegates in Greater Accra to support Manly-Spain in his bid to become the regional chairman.�
