Nanas "Fixed" Victory Came From An "Ungodly Spirit"?

Chairman for the New Patriotic Party in the Northern Region, Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu, is reported to have vowed to set up a committee to fish out delegates who defied his authority and voted for Mr. Alan Kyeremanten during the Special Delegate Congress. Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu is said to have forced delegates to swear an oath to vote for Nana Akufo Addo before the contest begun. It is in this light, that he personally issued a statement to clarify that he was only "joking" and been misconstrued by the outlet that broke the news. But Managing Editor for the Informer newspaper, Mr. Andy Kankam, has waded into the matter claiming that per the earlier statements made by Mr. Naabu, it appears Nana Addos victory during the just ended congress was fixed. For some of us who are following the movement of the NPP more than most of their party members, we know there was an agenda of zero votes set in place against Alan Kyeremanten during the Special Congress. And this manifested in the three regions he scored zero. Interestingly, Northern Region was part of the region he performed badly, Mr. Kankam said. In an interview with Peace FM, Mr. Kankam challenged Mr. Naabu to be a man and stand by his words which exposes Nanas victory as one that comes from an ungodly spirit and not a true reflection of the will of the delegates. In his view, although Mr. Naabu was trying so much to rubbish his earlier statements, Ghanaians are now aware of the extent the NPP can go to secure political power.
