Black Stars Arrive In Lome

The Black Stars have arrived in Lome ahead of their mid-week Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Hawks of Togo. The team that travelled without injured defender, John Boye is expected to train at the Kegue National Stadium later today. Apart from Boye who has been ruled out of Wednesdays match against the Togolese Hawks, all the 23 players will be available for selection despite earlier injury concerns for goalkeeper Razak Braimah. Boye injured his ankle at the Black Starss final training at the Accra Sports Stadium and had to be helped off the field by the teams medics. According to information gathered by GNA Sports, Braimah joined the team to Lome, following a clearance from the medical team after a scan confirmed a manageable minor jaw injury. The goalkeeper will however, stay under observation hours leading up to the match. Both teams are chasing their first win in the qualifiers after Togo lost to Guinea on the opening day of the qualifiers while Ghana drew one all with the Cranes of Uganda at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday.
