Ghana's 1st Ebola Centre Ready

Ghana�s first Ebola isolation centre, located behind the Tema General Hospital, will be handed over to the government today. Work on the structure started on August 7, according to the contractor At the site, The 'Finder' met masons, carpenters and painters working hard to put some finishing touches to the facility. Despite the fact that it would be connected to electricity, the isolation centre, located behind the Tema General Hospital, has enough space for aeration and natural light. The facility has a press centre, where media personnel who call at the facility for updates on patients� status will be briefed. The construction of the Tema Ebola isolation centre is funded by the Government of Ghana (GoG) at an undisclosed amount. The Tema Ebola isolation centre will have wards such as disinfection stations, changing rooms for male and female infected persons, Gowning and Store, Clean Change Rooms, and Cadaver Holding Bay.
