Those Who Wish For Economic Challenges To Persist Will Be Disappointed Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says critics who are praying for the current economic conditions to persist, will soon be disappointed. We are going through some economic challenges, everybody knows that but development has not stopped and for those who think that this challenge is going to continue forever will be disappointed. He said this at a ground breaking ceremony for the recommencement of the abandoned Tamale super market as part of a two day working visit to the Northern region. The president has been sternly criticized by a cross section of the public especially, members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the worsening economic conditions in the country. But he acknowledged that even though these challenges exist, it has not prevented the government from undertaking developmental projects across the country. He said several projects such as hospitals, schools and the adequate provision of water and electricity meant to improve the lives of people in the country, are still ongoing even through the hardship. He assured that the economy will soon improve and Ghana is going to enter an age of prosperity that we have never seen before.
