Dreaded land guards flamboyantly dressed in bright Military uniforms are on rampage at Ngleshie � Amanfrom in the Greater Accra Region, terrorizing and scaring land developers from developing lands that they have genuinely acquired. Following the constant attacks by the �uniformed� land guards, the land developers for fear of their lives are unable to develop their lands due to the aggressive behavior of the attackers. A close source hinted the New Crusading Guide that they find it difficult to identify the status of the land guards as to whether they are real Military officers in military uniform or are impersonating. The information said, the land guards are in possession of equipment believed to have been hired from the forty-eight (48) Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to ward off residents in the area. The land guards, according to the source, are heavily built �macho men�, who patrol the area wielding machetes and AK47 assault rifles. They are seen firing gunshots intermittently. According to the source, the security men in military uniform usually use a Nissan Pickup to intimidate the land developers. �We have lived here for more than 15 years. We bought the land rightfully from the chiefs and people of Ngleshie � Amanfrom� the source said. The source therefore appealed to the Military High Command to investigate the matter immediately to know the real identity of these persons in military uniform, since their activities are tarnishing the good image of the respectable men and women of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF). The source averred that �if investigations are conducted into this matter it would go a long way to stop land guards who use military uniforms to terrorize land developers in the entire Greater Accra Region and other regions as well.
