Prez Mahama Likely To Be Called "The Antichrist" Of Our Time If....- UFP Founder

Founder and Chairman of the United Front Party (UFP) Nana Agyenim Boateng has concluded that President John Dramani Mahama is likely to be called the Antichrist after his tenure in office, taking into account the myriad cases of corruption being recorded under his watch. According to him, high up in the echelons of power, the country's treasures are being fiendishly looted with insatiable greed by a new breed of societys nouveau-riche,; government appointees. Nana Agyenim Boateng also known as Gyataba, alleged that the National Identification Authority (NIA), is currently meeting at Ada in the Greater Accra Region, planning to give out the instant issuance of the identification card project to a private partner. He further claims the NIA, under the guise of not having the funds needed to complete the National Identification System, wants to take advantage of governments policy of Public-Private Partnership by extending an agreement with a private company. The NIA entered into a public-private partnership with Identification Management Systems (IMS), a special purpose vehicle birthed by the Intelligent Cards Production Systems (ICPS) Limited, a Ghanaian identification solutions provider, earlier this year. The Authority, has been struggling to meet its core function of issuing national ID cards to Ghanaians and non Ghanaians legally resident in the country, years after it began its work. It therefore turned to a private entity due to challenges with the Consolidated Fund, which was the main source of funding for the registration exercise. But "Gyataba" claims the people behind the private company which has partnered the NIA to carry out the project are members of the ruling NDC; adding, government is funding the full cost of the project, though it is in partnership with a private company. He claims that the project which could have been completed at the cost of $USD 120 million, will now be done at the cost of $USD 300 million; and vowed to take the matter up in court should government go ahead with its attempt to commit again to the public private partnership (PPP). If they decide to continue with the PPP idea, I will take them to court. This is our motherland and they should withdraw that decision...they are planning to give $USD 300 million to their private partner;...the NDC cannot and must not be allowed to take undue advantage on the masses... ....Teachers in the Universities are going on strike and yet we have enough to give to some few group to spend lavishlywe saw that in the era of President Rawlings, he was working with evil dwarfs and if President Mahama does not take care, he will be described as the Antichrist of our time, he opined on Okay Fms Ade Akye Abia.
