21-year-old Rickesha Burns from Phoenix, Arizona is being held by police after her two-year-old son was admitted to a hospital with a bleeding back-passage.
Burns� mother noticed blood in the child�s diaper and rushed her grandson to the hospital.
Doctors who examined the boy found rectal tears and bruising. During police interrogation a tearful Burns confessed.
