Jackson Educational Complex...Assisting The Youth To Acquire A Secured Future

A multi-purpose head office complex has been commissioned to serve the administrative requirements of the Jackson Educational Complex (JEC) at Ayeduase New- Site in Kumasi.

The College, which has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board, is affiliated to the University of Education, Winneba, and serves as a centre of education for over 5,000 students studying for Diploma in Basic Education by Distance Learning.

Commissioning the five-storey edifice, Mrs. Theodosia Jackson, the Principal, said the College was to assist the youth acquire a better and secured future. She encouraged the youth to embrace Distance Learning as means of upgrading themselves. Mrs Jackson recounted the strides made by the College since its inception in 2009.

She re-affirmed the College�s readiness to train students who enrol in the Diploma in Basic Education Programme.It will be recalled that, last year, the College successfully graduated its first batch of students who are contributing to the knowledge based economy in Ghana.

Rev. Prof Charles Ansah of Presbyterian Church, Christ Congregation of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology led the thanksgiving prayers whilst the dedication of the edifice was performed by Reverend Stephen Nkansah of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Woodbridge in Virginia, in the United States of America.

The Representative of Nana Akosua Akyamaa III, the Queenmother of Juaben, cut the tape for the commissioning of the office complex.
