Former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie insists that one of the presidential aspirants, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen dream of becoming NPP�s next flagbearer come October 18 will be impossible. According to him, Alan who has begun his grass-root based campaign tour in the Northern Region after launching his campaign in Accra recently has taken a bold step but �will be shocked again by delegates�. Mr. Kyerematen is expected to meet polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency and regional officers across the country to deliver his message of hope targeted at strengthening the grass-root during his tour. But speaking on OKAY FM morning show Ade Akye Abia the former chief scribe also known as �Sir John� allege that, Alan was welcomed in the North by only a handful of NPP members. �I heard only 9 members attended his meeting,� he noted Sir John however pleaded with the delegates to �Please listen to Alan. He [Alan] is my friend. I know they [delegates] don�t like him but they should listen to him� adding that, �Nothing can change the minds of the delegates�
