Head of the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Ms Lauretta Lamptey, seems to be at the center of every debate ongoing in the media circles. The CHRAJ Commissioner reportedly spent a total of $148,000 for 33 months at her Africa Union Village flat in Accra. She is currently living in a hotel costing the tax payer, $456.25 per day. According to reports, the CHRAJ boss claims she does not have a house of her own and that she used to live with her mother. Speaking to the issue in a panel discussion on Kokrokoo programme, Allotey Jacobs, Central Regional Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), advised Madam Lamptey to heed to calls for her to step aside.
