The Yendi Municipal Assembly has competed its street naming exercise by naming 20 major streets in Yendi. Some of the street names are Church of Christ, Ahmadis, Mongutia, Agric and Sikafo. The Yendi Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Issah Zakaria and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Sarfo Kantanka who monitored the installation of the street sign posts with the street names, said the street naming exercise was a life time activity. Mr. Zakaria commended the Yendi Municipal Town Planning Officer Mr. Pamphilio Nielakuu the Yendi Municipal Engineer Mr. Yakubu Abubakar and the Skilled Team for the good work done. He said after naming the 20 major streets, the next step would be addressing properties in the Municipality. Mr. Zakaria said some chiefs were organized to collect street names from which the names were selected.
