NPP Is Eager To Wrestle Power In 2016 Otiko Djaba

National Womens Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Otiko Afisah Djaba has said the party will do whatever it takes to win power in 2016. She is very optimistic that, Ghanaians will vote massively for the partys three-time presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2016 to salvage the country from its recent hardship under the Mahama-led administration. Madam Otiko however lauded the party executives, delegates and president hopefuls for ensuring smooth and violent free National Delegates Congress which Nana Addo emerged as winner. Speaking on Adom FM, she said the idea for the other two aspirants [Alan Kyerematen and Francis Addai Nimo] to declare their support for Nana Addo ahead of the 2016 elections after falling to him in the delegates congress shows that unity is now instilled in the party. She prayed that, unhealthy utterances used by followers of the candidates during campaign time will be buried by the media so as the party can focus on its agenda of winning the 2016 presidential polls. NPP is eager to wrestle power in 2016 and we are on course, she said. However, she congratulated its party presidential candidate and assured that, Nana Addos third coming will be a threat to the NDC and President John Dramani Mahama.
