You Deserve It - NOVA Tells Orphans

Members of staff and management of Nova Chiropractic Health Centre, Adenta have organised a donation exercise at the Weep Not Orphanage in Damang to mark the World Spinal Day celebrations on October 16th. The group led by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mrs. Asheley Ashitey Doodo gave a presentation on how to treat the spine, the nerves and to keep the body health, as the team keenly admire the over 201 orphans display their talents in music, poetry recitals, dancing chairs and other forms of entertainment. Various items including bags of rice, cooking oil, bunk beds, mattresses, disinfectants and toiletries were presented to the Weep Not Orphanage in aid of the student�s upkeep. The orphanage which houses over 201 children started in 2006 with only three children, but has now grown in number seeing about 6 of the children complete Senior High School and three Junior High School and the rest in the lower and upper primary respectively. Dr. Mrs. Asheley Doodo in a presentation to the orphanage urged the staff to ensure environmental cleanliness to avoid preventable diseases like Cholera. she also admonished the children never to be little themselves and their capabilities, but study harder to become eminent people in the society. The Chief Chiropractor of Nova Chiropractic Health Centre has called on other organizations to extend a helping hand particularly to the orphanage in support of their Dormitory blocks to give rooms to the children and pledged the Company�s support for the orphanage in the near future. Founder and mother of the orphanage, Nana expressed the orphanage�s profound appreciation to staff and management of Nova Chiropractic Health Centre for their kind support and the time spent with them. She however, admonished other corporate bodies to emulate Nova's example.
