Schalke 04 Yet To Consider Contract Extension For Kevin Prince Boateng

German side Schalke O4 are yet to consider a new deal for Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng as they Club has indicated they have not yet decided on extending the contract of the 26-year-old. Boateng, who joined the �Royal Blues� in a shock summer move last season after signing a three- year-deal with the Germans was said to have his contract extended provided he gets first team action. In an interview with German newspaper BILD, Chairman of Schalke's supervisory board Clemens Tonnies says the club has not yet decided on a new contract with the former AC Milan Star. "This deal has an option. The contract option implies that the deal will be automatically extended by one campaign if he plays a certain amount of first team games for Schalke. "There are currently no talks on a new agreement between Kevin-Prince Boateng and Schalke. Every party has agreed on that." Boateng who featured for the Black Stars at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups have only managed 6 goals in 33 appearances for Schalke.
