Kofi Adams Condemns Vandalism Of Party Office

Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has condemned in no uncertain terms the vandalism of the party office in the Abuakwa South constituency in the Eastern region. The youth were incensed by the actions of the Constituency Youth Organizer, Hilarious Mawuli Appiah Breni, who they accuse of failing to fulfill his side of the bargain after taking various sums of money from them with a pledge to secure them enlistment into the security agencies and also give others concessions for small scale mining which turned out to be a sham. The irate NDC youth broke into the partys office situated at Kyebi and destroyed burglar-proof windows, ceilings and walls, as well as portraits and billboards. But speaking on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, Kofi Adams expressed grave displeasure about the action of the youth. He could not fathom why the youth will decide to destroy the party office when they have an issue with an individual who is not a party executive. I condemn the action of the youth; it is totally unacceptable he stressed. Mr. Adams who is also vying for the National Organizer position of the NDC urged the youth to report the matter to the police since it is a criminal matter.
