Iker Casillas has revealed that Real Madrid's aim is to be top of La Liga by Christmas after they defeated current leaders Barcelona last weekend. Los Blancos drew to within a point of Luis Enrique's men courtesy of a stirring 3-1 victory at Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night. They had to recover from the concession of an early goal to Neymar but responded impressively, with strikes from Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Karim Benzema. Casillas is now hoping that Madrid can overhaul their great rivals at the summit of the Primera Division standings before the winter break.
