Believe it or not, the refurbished floor of Ghana�s Parliament with the state of the art furniture and equipment cannot be discarded by any person in terms of beauty and standard. The modernization of the chamber has been fitted with sophisticated devices to enable the 275 legislators access online information and parliamentary document with the press of just a button on a touch screen technological device. The main chamber of the House now has new leather seats, larger television, new carpets and voting screens. [All China made] This means the lawmakers can now vote electronically on matters before the house just like their colleague congresspersons overseas. The new contraptions in the house positions Ghana among few African countries with similar equipment that makes working more flexible and convenient to the legislators. Even though some of the MP�s are complaining bitterly of how to use the new equipment and the importation of the China leather seats, speaker Edward Doe Adjaho has assured that a training programme has been scheduled for the MPs to enable them properly utilize the new digital equipment.
