Residents of Accra living between Achimota and Alogboshie were thrown into a state of panic when they woke up to see two big coffins left in the middle of the road between the Achimota branches of two renowned banks, Access bank and Adb Bank.
Hon James Agbozo, Assemblyman for Abofun Electoral area, told listeners of Adom FM�s Dwaso Nsem Thursday that the owners of the brand new coffins, with their wrappers intact, have not been found.
Hon Agbozo said he received a call from the branch manager of Access bank to �come immediately� because there was a problem. �When I got there I saw big coffins, two brand new, with their wrappers intact. I immediately called Mile 7 police, who came immediately. They opened them but it was empty.
�They are big, heavy coffins, like the ones used to bury chiefs. They are white and brown.� The Mile 7 police, who suspect they may have been stolen, have since taken them away.
An eyewitness, Nana Kwasi Ababio said some residents had fled the area to avoid being affected by any spirits who might have been in the coffin.
