Majeed Waris Hails Leadership Qualities of Andre Ayew

Black Stars forward Abdul Majeed Waris has hailed the leadership traits of compatriot Andre Dede Ayew describing him as a good and natural Leader. There has been mixed feelings among the football public over the possible candidate to pick up the captains armband in Saturdays crunch AFCON 2015 qualifier against Uganda following the absence of general captain Asamoah Gyan who has been sidelined by an injury. Although the Olympic Marseille star has been tipped to lead the Black Stars on Saturday against the Cranes, media reports also suggest that John Boye who is making a comeback into the team will be considered to captain the team at the Mandela Stadium. Waris, who is expected to lead the attack for Coach Maxwell Konadus side following the injury and suspension of Asamoah Gyan and Jordan Ayew has therefore eulogized the leadership qualities of Andre Ayew. I dont have any problem with who captains the team or not, we as players, will support anybody that the management chooses. We wont have a problem with any of them, Im just hoping for the best, but if Dede gets the armband, that is cool, he is a natural leader and we will all support him. The Black Stars are just a win away to book a place to next years AFCON tournament at a yet to be named country following the withdrawal of original host Morocco.
