I�ll Help NDC Retain Power In 2016 � Betty Mould

Former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Betty Mould Iddrisu, says she is contesting the Vice Chairperson position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to enable her partake in the strategic decision making of the party. In October this year, Mrs Mould Iddrisu�s posters and banners popped up in the streets of Accra indicating her intentions. In an interview with Citi News, the former AG explained that in order for the party to retain power in the 2016 general elections, it would have to re-strategize ��we need to give strategic leadership and vision to the NDC,� she said, adding that electing her as NDC Vice Chairperson �will give me a voice and some authority in the decision making of the party to help us win again in 2016.� Mrs Mould Iddrisu acknowledged that although the current leadership of the NDC is assiduously working, �I think I can bring more strategy to the party.� She expressed her appreciation to members of the party for the massive support she has received. The former AG is likely to battle it out with Danny Annan, former CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak, Harry Zakour, Alhaji Sinare and the former Minister of Education, Lee Ocran. The NDC is yet to open nominations and also, the leadership of the party is deliberating on a date for its national delegates� congress.
