Children from basic schools mostly in Accra had a fun-filled day when the second edition of the �Indomie Gifted and Talented Festival� (GIFTAFEST) took place at the Efua Sutherland�s Park in Accra.
GIFTAFEST was an event brought together to unearth creative talents in pupils and students between the ages of seven and 14years.
The school children exhibited their various talents in drama, drama fused with poetry, singing, rap, dance, cultural display, drumming, appellation, playing of instruments and choreography.
Over 100 schools participated, with two pupils representing each school. They performed to the admiration of their teachers, friends, and colleagues in the competition that came off under the theme �Shaping talents.�
The participants also had the opportunity to watch others perform, meet, socialise, and celebrate their involvement in a children�s talented programme.
There were side attractions like bouncy castle, trampoline, face painting, dance party, musical show, horse riding, comedy and lucky dip for the children.
Event staff from Multipro Private Limited, distributors of Indomie, took the children through what they described as Indomie bazaar by making the children sample the nutritious Indomie meal.
