Apologies to the families and all loved ones of late Fennec Okyere. This piece has no intent of bruising a not-so-dead-wound. Thank you. On March 13, 2014, a soul was brutally murdered. He was adored by many. He was a role model to a little above-half of the showbiz mass. And he had his fair share of the human nature; his bad, good and ugly side, although not all was put on display publicly. His death through to his burial on April 26, 2014; has seen no calmed waters between the deceased family, his wife and her family. Apparently, Bulldog, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson became the first prime suspect due to �coincidental� utterances and threat messages meted to the deceased through an alleged tip-off the Ghana Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) received. In as much as the Ghana Police Service Criminal Investigation Department may be going on with investigation to lay hands on the perpetrators of late Fennec Okyere, won�t it be fair to also give the public some assurances like �We are still on the investigation grounds of Fennec Okyere�s death�? At least that would serve a purpose to add up to the Police Service�s competence, just like the assurance the outfit gave during cases like the �cocaine magically-turned into Konkonte powder�, among other historical yet bizarre cases that were decently laid to rest. As outlined in a previous interview with the CID PR, ASP Joseph Darkwah on the process of investigation in the article headlined; �No docket is closed, we conduct in-depth investigation to unravel facts before prosecution � CID PR�, will the ongoing investigation indeed unravel the actual contacts (killers) of the deceased? Or the �tainted� image of Bulldog will have to remain until years after when the public may have concluded the Police Service �oral capability � of unraveling fact? Although it is a murder case and may take some more months to conclude with its investigations, won�t be fair to publicly bring other suspects who have connection to the deceased death? But what could have possibly happened to the samples gathered on the crime scene? No finger prints on the deceased body, phone, car and other items in the room, different blood samples, and no hair and saliva samples found on the crime scene to assist with investigations at the forensic laboratory? Many questions soaring the minds of the public including; Could there not be other suspects aside Bulldog? Who did the deceased meet on the previous day before his �untimely� death that morning? What was the need of demanding for Bulldog�s phone when the deceased phone is best to assist in leading the Police to the perpetrators? Could there have been other shady deals or businesses that could have possibly gone bad that lead to the deceased death? Seemingly, the �GMW� brouhaha abruptly ended with no linkage to the deceased death but as the criminal law states, which is well-known to the public �Everybody Is A Suspect in a criminal case�, whether close to the people or person involved or not (I stand to be corrected). Unfortunately, for his bad way of tackling issues whenever he is offended which has become a so-used-to attitude of Bulldog by the public; the focus has solely been on him as the prime suspect of the deceased death. Unless, just maybe; all other suspects linked to the deceased death are being �ghostly� apprehended and interrogated at the Police Headquarters for the families sake in order not to rise the somehow cooled emotions? Or just maybe again, the Police Service is patiently waiting for other tip-offs before other suspects connected to the case can be brought to book? 3-days to exactly eight months since the incident and investigation commenced, can this month, November be the public�s lucky month in which the Police Criminal Investigation Department will unravel the killers of Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese�s manager? Indeed silence is golden hence, hopefully the sharpened ears of the public is very much alert to any information on the Fennec Okyere�s case. Fennec, due, due ne amanihunu!!!
